At the top of their game in Asheville, North Carolina, Walt and Luke Dickinson, Founders and Brewers of the Wicked Weed Brewing Company, have been pushing the boundaries of craft beer since 2012. Along with 14 other partners, they have crafted some of the most sought out and creative beers in the U.S., bringing them national and international acclaim.

The Dickinson Brothers have both grown up amongst the Asheville community, which from the early 1800's has been renowned for it's beer production and unmatched quality. They have combined their passion for beer and challenge for perfection to create something special for their hometown fans and the whole of craft beer lovers.

In 2014, Wicked Weed rose above the competition to take a bronze medal at the international World Beer Cup. The award, bringing further recognition of Wicked Weed and the Asheville region, was the first of many accolades to come.

To create their now famous beer styles, the brothers have worked with some of the best brew masters and beer experts in the world. They’ve established contacts in Europe for yeast and hops, experimenting to create some of the most unique beer recipes in the country.

Focusing on providing delicious and unique flavors, Wicked Weed puts both an emphasis on quality and variant tastes. Wild ales and sours are amongst their most prominent styles, with plenty of options for hop heads or those looking for something with lower ABV.

Year Round Selections

Among the brewery’s year-round selection are two of their most popular beer, Freak of Nature and Pernicious IPA. The first a double IPA, weighing in at 8.6% abv, is an intensely hoppy work of art. While Pernicious IPA is a West Coast style beer that seamlessly blends the best of Cascade, Citra, and Centennial hops. Those looking for something different should also appreciate their Farmhouse Ale, French Saison.
